“Wetlands in Action” –  A Joint Expert Webinar Series

Webinar Series on Wetland Research and Innovation Launches This November

The Horizon Europe Sister Projects ALFAwetlands, RESTORE4Cs, REWET, and WET HORIZONS are proud to announce the launch of “Wetlands in Action”, a dynamic series of expert-led webinars showcasing the latest in wetland science, innovation, and cross-project collaboration.

Running from November 2025 to April 2026, this unique webinar series brings together leading voices in European wetland research for a deep dive into cutting-edge developments in conservation, data collection, stakeholder engagement, sustainable management, and policy. Each of the 45-minute sessions will feature concise presentations followed by an open Q&A, creating a platform for meaningful exchange and networking among professionals across disciplines.

The webinars reflect the powerful synergies created by the collaboration between the four projects, each contributing unique perspectives, methodologies, and case studies to support evidence-based solutions for wetland restoration and resilience.

The Society of Wetland Scientists (SWS) European Chapter will also join the series, offering valuable insights into global opportunities for scientific collaboration and support within the wetland research community.

Whether you’re a scientist, policy expert, practitioner, or stakeholder, this is your chance to connect with key players shaping the future of Europe’s wetlands.
